Gordon Webster returns to Albany!!!

From slow blues to swingin’ jazz, pianist Gordon Webster does it all.

Gordon enjoys an active career on the NY jazz scene. He has performed with a long list of artists including Grant Green Jr., Wycliffe Gordon, Chris Potter, Joel Frahm, Donny McCaslin, Ron McClure & Jim Black. He has been showcased in various NY City venues including The Blue Note, Sweet Rhythm, The Cutting Room, The Iridium, Cleopatra's Needle, Makor, St. Nick's Pub, Mannahatta Lounge, & Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Gordon graduated from the Manhattan School of Music Masters in jazz studies program, and has studied privately with Kenny Barron, Garry Dial, Sonny Bravo, Ari Heonig & Samir Chatterjee. He has performed in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, France, Australia, & throughout the US & Canada at festivals, clubs & lots of dances.

Gordon has also developed a passion for swing, lindy hop and blues dancing, which has become a significant influence in his life & music. His latest album “Blues Till Dawn” is a collection of slow, bluesy tracks influenced by the sultry atmosphere of the late night dance scene.
