Hugh Morriell, b. abt 1746, said to be an Irish merchant "of Boston" came to New England prior to Rev. War. Relocated to Otsego Co., NY, about 1800, then to Erie Co., PA, 1818. Had children who married in New Ashford. Of perhaps many children, these are known or postulated: 1) Elizabeth - md. New Ashford, 1790, Medad Pomeroy; 2) Robert - md. New Ashford, 1796, Patience Lewis; 3) (prob.) James; 4) (prob.) Daniel Seek info on this family that later changed name to Morrell.

Researching the Pike and Roberts Families from Bershire County. Joh W. Pike married Jeanette (Nettie) Roberts there. Johns father was Nathan Pike, and he had a brother, Charles.

SAVAGE-RICH: James Savage married Bersheba Rich probably 1780-1784 in or near Williamstown, Berkshire County, MA. She was the daughter of Moses Rich and Lydia Davis Rich, early settlers in Williamstown. James Savage appears in the 1790 census and so does a Thomas Savage. Anyone with any information on these families please contact me.

Robert Stewart
Alexander Stewart and his wife Amy Spaulding Stewart lived some 30 or 40 years in Becket. In about 1770 they sold thier property there. Amey purchased heer faathers farm in Becket and Alexander wass neveer seen again that I have been able to find--I am looking for information on this family esspecially alexander. I am looking for any information on James and Mary Tucker the listed parents of Charles Tucker d. 09/24/1881 in Lee, Mass. On his death certificate it stated that he was born in 1808 in Conn. and his parents were James and Mary Tucker who were both born in Conn. Thanks for any help you may provide.
