Columbia County js, Be it Remembered, that on the eighteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty eight, personally came and appeared before me R. R. Van Rensselaer Surrogate of the County aforesaid, Mary Cornwell Administrator of Richard Cornwell Deceased, and being duly sworn, on her oath, declared that the within writing, signed by her the deponent, contains a true and perfect inventory, of all & singular the Goods, Chattles and Credits which were of the said Richard Cornwell, as far as had come to her hands, possession or knowledge, or into the hands or possession of any person or persons in trust for her to her knowledge
