Arie DELONG

Brothers Aaron Delong, perhaps b. 1750s, John, b. 1758/9 & Simon Delong, b. 13 Sep or 13 Oct 1761. Parents unknown. The 3 perhaps left for Philadelphia by mid-1770s. They had at least one more brother & maybe a sister, Hannah. Later John & Simon stated they were b. Albany Co. (incl. Col. Co. at that time). I cannot locate any Col. Co. records for this period. I found a Jonas Delong, son of Johan/John, bp. Hopewell, Dutch. Co. on Simon's alleged birthdate.

Can't find Dutch. Co. records for John or Aaron's baptism. Jonas' Delong's father, John, was in Dutch. Co. court in 1754 as father of an unborn "bastard" & surety was posted by brother, Arie. Did they leave for Columbia Co for the birth, stay there through 1758/9 & go to Hopewell by 1761?

An Arie Delong was proprietor of Beekman Arms in Rhinebeck & Johan/John Delong (above) lived Beekmantown. Was Arie of the inn his brother?
