What's Shakin'?

4/25/06 Phone Circuit Issues
This afternoon at 2PM, GlobalNAPs (our telephone provider) was disconnected from the main telephone system by Verizon, leaving BerkshireNet and many other ISPs in Massachusetts without phone service for dial-up customers. BerkshireNet was provided no prior notice that this might happen, and we were caught unprepared. As of 4PM we have made arrangements with another telephone company to take over our telephone service, however this will take a couple of days to complete the transaction. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we had no warning that this was about to occur.
2/27/02 BerkshireNet will be closed today for memorial services for Jason Hatch.
Thank you for your understanding at this difficult time for us.

While the loss was a shock to us all, he would want us to face the day with the determination to press forward.
