At BerkshireNet, we're pleased to offer high performance "56k" digital dialup service. Our entire modem pool is served off of the Livingston (Lucent)
Portmaster 3, the RAS server that beats the Ascend Max units used by our
competitors for sustained throughput under load by 232% (source LANQuest
Benchmark). This means that your 56k dial-up connection to the
Internet is as fast as possible with BerkshireNet. What's more, we
segregate our dialup traffic from our web hosting traffic. Our dialup
traffic is on a 10Mbps (Fractional T3) link that is seperate from the
high speed connection to our servers, where our customers' web pages and email are located.

Standard Features.
At BerkshireNet, we combine that best of what the Internet has to offer
with the best that we have to offer. All BerkshireNet Dial-Up accounts
feature: - "56kbps" digital service lines.
- Up to 3 E-Mail (POP3) Accounts - Additional accounts are available.
- FTP access
- Web based email access
- Shell/Telent account
- Up to 20mb of space for storage - Additional space is available.
- No additional cost for setup software - Can be mailed or downloaded.
Of
course, you get the benefits of our sterling technical support, high
performance network and frequent backups.
Please Note: A one time equipment fee of $19.95 is billed at account
creation so that we may ensure the highest quality and availability of our
modem resources. Also, all accounts are preferred to be paid by credit card.
If you do not have a credit card, paper billing is available for an additional
$1 per month.

The Bronze PackageOur Bronze Package allows you to pay for only what you use, without paying for things you don't use. By charging you only for what you use, and
eliminating our shell and web space feature, we're able to offer this plan
to you at a lower price per month. The Bronze Package comes with one email account and one hour
per month of free usage. Each additional hour is billed at 99 cents for peak hours
(10am - 10pm) and 49 cents per hour for off-peak time (10pm - 10am). Some restrictions apply,
contact us for additional details.

The Silver Package (for Night Owls)
Our Silver Package is a variation of our Bronze Package, whereby you pay
for only those resources that you use. The difference in the Silver Package
is that off-peak hours are free, while each hour for peak (10am - 10pm) is
still 99 cents. Again, some restrictions apply so please contact us for
details.

Platinum Package (450 Hours)
Our Platinum Package is tailored for power users and families. It features up to 3 email accounts and 20 megs of Web
space for file storage, email storage or for home page creation. Our Platinum Package allows 450 hours of usage
per month, with each additional hour billed at 99 cents for peak (10am -
10pm) and 49 cents off-peak (10pm - 10am).
