NHTSA NEW!`(12/28) Berkshire Community College has develped a Leadership in Education about Alcohol and Drugs LEAD@BCC site to help inform young adults about the consequences of risk taking behaviors.

NHTSA NEW!`(12/28) The Center for the Advanced Study of Public Safety and Injury Prevention, at SUNY Albany School of Public Health, provides a vast array of information and links dealing with all aspects of public safety. 

This site contains The Electronic Highway Safety Library, which is organized by subject headings (e.g. Bicycles & Bike Helmets, Older Drivers and Pedestrians, School Bus Issues, etc.) and contains links to hundreds of current research reports, datasets, and monographs. 

An additional resource is The Injury Prevention Internet Library . This is also organized by topic and contains links to hundreds of research reports and datasets regarding a host of intentional and unintentional injuries (e.g. Drowning and Submersion, Falls, Fires & Burns, Occupational, Violence, etc.).

    NEW!`(12/28) The Bicyle Helmet Safety Institute, the helmet advocacy program of the Washington Area Bicyclist Association, has all sorts of information.  A must-visit site for everyone concerned with prevention of head injuries due to bicycle or other sport accidents.
