This zip archive file contains the Adobe Page Maker 6.5 file and TrueType font files required to display/print the file.
You will be prompted with a File Download window to save it to disk or open from current location. Select save to disk and click OK. It is recommended that you save the files in a dedicated folder (directory) and unzip the file in this folder.
All
text and graphics objects are contained in the Page Maker File.
The TrueType fonts must be installed in Windows, before the poster will
display/print properly. (If the
fonts are not installed, Page Maker will assign a default font.) To install the
fonts, Click Start on your Windows tool bar, Settings, and Control Panel.
Double-click Fonts and click File, Install new font. Browse to the directory
where you have unzipped the poster archive file. The Add Fonts window will
list the six serpentine fonts required for the poster. Click on the first
font in the list, then hold down the shift key and click on the last font in the
list, highlighting all the fonts. Click OK to install the fonts.
Editable objects:
The Stats percentage (currently "80%") is one object
The descriptive line that goes with the "80%" is a separate object.
No other objects should be edited.
Kids' Picture:
This picture is a commercially purchased item, licensed for this use with poster
only. The original file is approximately 140MB.
The picture data included in the Page Maker file is about 11MB. The
resolution of the picture you want to substitute will depend on the size of the
flyer, poster, etc., you want to produce. You will have to experiment with
the source, scan, and printout to get an acceptable product.
