PERSONAL SUMMARY

I worked at Beloit Corporation for 27 years.  Twenty five of those
Years I was a machinist, working on various machines.  As Beloit began to deteriorate, they sold the machine I was working on and I had to work in other departments.  One such department was the Tool Room.  I had the key to the tool room (often referred to as the Vault).  This key was on my person at all times, even when I went home. "Trust" was a key issue with that job. I did not stay in the tool room because I was hoping to find a better job within the plant, not realizing that they were planing on closing the plant.

Other jobs that I did at Beloit:  Inspection, ISO calibration, Fork Lift Operator,  material handler,  and Bar shop.

When Beloit Corporation closed, I studied for my GED at Berkshire Community College.  I received my GED, and took several courses at BCC.  These were Computer courses and Math.

Since then, I worked for Census 2000 for a few months.  I have a good ability to get along with other people and I had to keep all information confidential.

I then applied to work as a Temporary Worker with Manpower, and  Molari Temp services  in Pittsfield, Ma.  I am now looking for full time work.

I have often worked as a Ballot Box Constable with the town of Washington, Ma. during Local, State and Federal elections.

I am a hard worker, quick learner, creative, and get along well with people.
I am trustworthy and respect my employee's wishes.  I am conscious of my surroundings when working and am always willing to help make improvements where needed. And, I am always on time.

When working at Beloit Corporation  we had  to take many safety courses.  Safety is a big issue with me.

I also took the Red Cross CPR course and became a first responder.  However, I have not had the opportunity to take a refresher course.
